What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website places on your device when you visit. It lets the site remember what you did last time, such as keeping items in a cart or remembering that you closed a banner. Cookies do not run programs and cannot access other files on your device.
Cookies we use
We keep the number of cookies on this site to a minimum. They fall into three groups, and only the first group is switched on by default.
- Necessary: these keep the site working, remember your cookie choice and protect forms from abuse. The site will not function properly without them.
- Analytics: these tell us which pages people read and how they arrived. The data is aggregated and cannot be traced back to you.
- Embedded content: when you load a map or video, the platform that supplies it may set its own cookies.
How long they last
Some cookies disappear when you close your browser. Others stay for a set period so the site can remember you on your next visit. Our cookie consent choice is stored for twelve months, after which we ask again. Analytics cookies are set to expire after fourteen months.
Managing cookies
You can accept or decline non-essential cookies using the banner on the homepage. If you have already made a choice and want to change it, clear your browser cookies for this site and the banner will appear again. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time.
- In Chrome, look under Settings, Privacy and security, Cookies and other site data.
- In Safari, look under Preferences, Privacy, Manage Website Data.
- In Firefox, look under Settings, Privacy and Security, Cookies and Site Data.
- In Edge, look under Settings, Cookies and site permissions.
Declining non-essential cookies will not prevent you from booking a table or browsing the menu. It only means we cannot measure how visitors use the site.
Third party services
Our map embed and booking tools are provided by external companies. They may place cookies when you interact with them, and their own privacy policies apply. We do not control what those services set, so if this concerns you, check their policies before using the feature.
